Gilpin County Fire and Ambulance Station

The Central City Fire and Ambulance Station are a pre-manufactured metal building designed to serve as a vital, multi-functional hub for the community. Built on robust concrete stem wall foundations for durability, the structure features three dedicated apparatus bays for stationing emergency ambulances and maximizes efficiency within a compact footprint.

An engineered mezzanine creates an elevated dormitory space for on-duty personnel, keeping them rested and ready to respond. Beneath the mezzanine, the floor plan efficiently accommodates a fully equipped kitchen, administrative offices, and dedicated workspaces. The design prioritizes both operational functionality and long-term durability, ensuring the facility can withstand the demands of emergency services.

Glenwood Structural provided comprehensive structural foundation engineering and civil site work design for this essential civic project, delivering critical multi-functional space engineered for community response.
